Je trouve le sujet intéressant, qui ici n’a pas rêvé de retrouver au fin fond d’ une grange une Bugatti 35 dans laquelle les poules avaient fait leur nid !

Je connais une 356 qui patiente sous une bâche dans les yvelynes… Le moteur est sur l’établi à côté, ouvert… On la voit de la rue… J’essaierai de faire une image bientot.

Le terme de “restauration” peut il encore vraiment s’appliquer à la 550?
Je parlerais plutôt de “reconstruction” (à partir d’une CG, ou de son équivalent Etatsunien ?) ou , sinon, de gachis historique.
Pour tout dire, suis admiratif du travail effectué, mais assez dubitatif quant à son intérét.
Tant qu’à reconstruire une auto autant en choisir une qui n’existe plus, comme P. Moch a pu le faire pour la Voisin Lab’.

En ce qui concerne la 356, hormis en tant que déco dans une casse, j’ai du mal à lui imaginer un avenir !

Je suis aussi très mitigé sur la 550. Les premières photos montrent une voiture déjà neuve et en pleine reconstruction. Dans le ca d’un tel travail et en considérant le prix de la voiture, je mettrais fièrement en avant les photos de la voiture telle que découverte.

Photos de la carrosserie, châssi, moteur, instruments de bord etc…
C’est le gage d’un “sauvetage historique” à l’inverse de la construction moderne d’un Numéro de châssis manquant.

Le sujet est vaste…..
